Streaming video with LeftClick is possible. There are several transport methods available with codecs. Here you can find which they are.

• UDP (multicast)
• RTSP (unicast/multicast)
• HTTP/HTTPS (unicast); not webpages but URLs to videos/streams provided via HTTP (possibly via DASH or HLS).

Supported formats

• MPEG-1
• MPEG-2
• WMV
• H.264

Network requirements

The player shows the stream directly. Therefore the player needs an available (network) route to the stream. The stream will NOT connect through a configured proxy but requires a direct connection to the end point on the streaming server.

Note

We do not support authentication on the stream. It needs to be a unauthenticated link.

There is no support for DRM. The stream needs to have an open format.
